The 70,000 sf renovation and construction of Pelahatchie High school includes the construction of five building additions, which include: three new classrooms, two new special education classrooms, a new band and chorus facility, the addition of one new science lab building plus the renovation of two existing science labs, a new multi-purpose facility, the expansion of the administration wing, a new career academy expansion, additional toilets throughout the campus, and renovated parking areas with the addition of one new parking lot expansion. Across the campus multiple HVAC units are being replaced and upgraded, the fire alarm system upgraded, and multiple electrical renovations.
